This is from a forum member. After her emails with Kathie, her personal information was posted on Kelsey's Purpose and her boss was contacted by a KP member that was trying to get her fired.

Well I had emailed kathie gees months ago, i mean nearly a year ago and she just now wrote me back. I think the only reason she wrote is cause she knows i made that support myspace for raye, here is the emails:

I am so sorry about the delay in responding. Preparing for the trial was concuming and the trial itself was much harder than I expected. Once I finally got physically able to catch up my computer decided to take a break. Eventually I will get caught up. We now have to wait for the final sentencing date in September.

I appreciate your sweet message. Kelsey seems to have captured many hearts. We are truly blessed that God chose our family to know and love her. I had no idea this site and her story would grow as it has. We have received more than 2,000 members in less than a week. There must be something good in store here. Kelsey is leading the way to making a difference for other children living in fear. I hope you will join us here as we continue to grow. Posting messages of support is a big help to those sharing their stories. In the hundreds of messages I have received many have been from teens. Some have shared their abuse stories. I hope to start a forum called Students Against Child Abuse.

As I do beleive in Kelsey's purpose, I do beleive after reading trial notes, dhs notes and many other items for hours on end, hundreds of hours, I feel that Raye Dawn had no idea this was happening to her baby. I beleive that someone was very sneaky and was hiding this very well. As I can say my sister went through the same thing almost or would have if she didnt arrive home just in time to stop her husband from killing my nephew. so yes i beleive she probably didn't know. as well she got hurt in your side of the family just as much, so to me if raye should go to jail so should you. You can take me off the kelseyspurpose site if you wish, because i beleive in working together and your family has been against raye and her family since raye/lance's divorce. also i find it sicking knowing lance lied saying he was in iraq fighting for a war and he really was in Georgia, because my brother DIED in the iraq war.... however that is my opinion and the hate your family carries is one main factor kelsey is gone. and maybe just maybe one day blaine will be reunited with his family if your family can back off and leave the smiths alone! thanks for having me as a follower until i knew the real story and truth. best of wishes. i will keep you all in my prayers cause you will need them!!

I appreciate your message. I wish you well as you work to bring awareness to child abuse. Perhaps you should read all of Kelsey's story before you come to any conclusions. My son did fight in Iraq and how dare you insinuate he did not. We can prove he did, can you prove he did not? If not you are spreading lies. I know you are connected with the Smith family. You say the same things they have said for two years. It won't work. We know the truth, we lived the truth. Raye has been found guilty and she must pay for her part. Your membership on KP will stay, but you certainly do not have to log on. I would recommend you help raise money for Raye Dawn's appeal if you need something to do. You could also help post the slanderous remarks on truthaboutkelsey.com. That should help you get rid of some of the anger you have. If you are taking any kind of antidepressants I would recommend giving them up. I here Raye gave hers up because it made her angry. Have a nice day.

You do NOT have to write me back for I don't care to hear from you. I do bring awareness about child abuse, I have been working with child abuse groups way longer than just since Kelsey died. I never said Lance didn't fight in Iraq, I simply stated at the time of Kelseys death he was NOT in Iraq fighting. Yes I have read all of Kelseys story, I unlike 99% of your followers have done my research. You all have had it out for Raye since the divorce, that is what I am gathering. Oh and by the way I do NOT spread lies, that is for the wicked like you all, I love my life so therefore I have no need to submerge in your all's little gossip session. Now on Raye paying for her part of being guilty, lets see maybe someone should harrass the DA about you until they bring charges on you, hum didn't Kelsey get hurt as much at your house as she did at Rayes. To me if one of you get charged both should. Oh I belong to that group and KP. They are nothing but trash talking bullshit. NO I am sorry, I do NOT take any kind of medications, never done drugs and never will, maybe perhaps you should borrow some from your son and chilll out yourself. so anyhow that was started before i even started talking to gayla on here and the last email is what i got today! They are so full of it, and down right worthless. i know raye has to be strong cause i know i couldnt have handled all this. i would have gone in sane by now. Now see i dont see how they can keep ur family from blaine, cause dhs isnt about helping is it, they seem to say whats best for the child well, noone has been charged with nothing and none of you can love him like he needs. So the odcr says raye is in muskogee, but the news says shes in sapulpa, cause i am right here in muskogee and sapulpa is just an hour away. wow bleeding like that, u know the government will see that as a conflict with the state, and them paying all medical bills, if she is sentenced more than likely if they know this medical history they will just give her probation, wouldn't that be nice. I hope she gets out and is reunited with blaine soon.

Raye is in jail because of her actions. No one made those choices for her. You say I better hope this doesn't happen to one of my children. My son married Raye, and my granddaughter is dead. It already happened. The fact is I don't hate Raye. The people that think they are defending her are the ones that let this all get out of hand as they say. We could not have put Raye in jail. She put herself there and her mother helped.

Raye has been convicted of enabling child abuse. She has lost Blaine and so did Porter. That is another thing she did herself. The presentencing report states she should not have children in her care. That report was prepared from the interview of Raye. Once again, she did it to herself.

What about her illness? It has been reported she is bleeding from the stomach.

By the way you have the advantage, you know exactly who you are talking to. Who are you? Your name and where your from.

You are right, God will take care of this. I have no problem with that.

only thing that shows raye of enabling child abuse is the statements from Mike Porter, to which is a killer/child molester who you all get off on charges of that just to hang raye, once again you all are the ones who forced this. you are right noone made her make the choices she did, but did she or did she not do everything she was supposed to? I think she did according to dhs and court records. according to court records they had NO idea who was hurting kelsey, so if noone else knew how was raye supposed to know? Im curious why you were emailing porter and then visited him. There is NO way in hell i would talk to much less see the killer of my child/grandchild that did that to a child family member of any kind. I think I will write porter and see if he will write me back so we can get his side since how this is all about raye and noone is blaming the one who did the abuse. you know i am not the one to take a side on things like this, but i have done nothing but cry because of this lost child and to think blaine will not know his mommy or even her family at that matter, to know how much hate you all have toward raye. just so sad but yes u are right there is one thing i know you are right on and that is me helping raye, i dont want anyone else living the life she has had to an get sent to jail for not knowing about her supposaly enabling child abuse. oh and i am not hiding so here is my contact info which shows up on my email when i send it out anyhow:

met with Porter prior to the second autopsy at his request. I was curious to see why he would want to meet with me. At this time I believed Raye was the one that murdered Kelsey. Most people in our family still do.

Raye could use the excuse she didn't know when she was blaming me. Once I was no longer in the picture she knew if it wasn't her it was him.

As I stated I don't hate Raye. She and her family chose this path against us before we even knew this was a murder. You cannot just blame one side for all the bad blood that has erupted from this. Raye would not have been charged if the DA did not think he had a case. The jury convicted her by the evidence. Her own mother testified against her without realizing it. I am sure she feels bad for that one.

What about the illness Raye is suffering from right now? Is it true she is pregnant?

ok well if she isn't guilty then i hope God helps her out of this mess she is in. I do feel so bad for her because to me after everything i have read points to the briggs hating her for some reason. But that is my opinion. I cry for her cause i see my sister in that same mess only my sister caught her son's abuser, there was noone else around either but like porter her hubby had all the excuses in the world. From what i know about raye, i just love her to death as a person and i havent never met nor talked to her, i am baseing my opinion on all the stuff i read. i dont think a child would laugh as much as kelsey with her mom if her mom did anything. thanks for asking about rayes illness, how did you know? just curious. lol no she is NOT pregnant, I have not been giving that information at this time, but again thanks for asking.

I hate it when I am wrong, but seems once again I am. I have been told friends of the paternal family have collected somewhere near 1,000 copies of the tabloid. I actually gave some of my friends here in Meeker some copies last week so they could put it in their Kelsey box.

I would also mention the District Attorney asked for flyers to stop weeks prior to the trial. He wanted to make sure we allowed for a fair trial. About that time is when the maternal family started spreading their flyers and papers. So if there was not a "fair" trial, who is to blame? You see, not all people fell for the outrageous story in the tabloid. Especially those in the military that know proper proceedure. They seem to frown on one of their own being slandered.

At the District Attorney's request we closed the message board on this site. It reopened the day of the verdict. It was not closed by the Attorney General as reported by the Smith family.

The day of the verdict one of the Observer reporters came up to the Briggs family spokesperson. We were about to walk out of the courtroom. He had been watching the interviews nightly. He told Jay Sigman he was sorry for what our family had gone through. It appears he realized he had been given false information. To his defense, this man was only doing his job. He was paid to print those lies and that is what they did. I understand if the defendant is found guilty they have to return the money to the family. This should boost the defense fund by a few thousand dollars.

This was sent to me directly from the US Observer. I had inquired about Kathie's claims that Raye Dawn's article was bought and that they were a tabloid paper. I never for a second believed that, and here is what they said:

Kathie Briggs and several supporters have intentionally perpetuated a lie (among many) claiming the US~Observer Oklahoma was paid to write our article regarding Kelsey Smith-Briggs. We have received many emails forwarded to us where Kathie claims, "The Observer is not a newspaper. It is a tabloid paper published once they are paid by a
family to print a story." The US~Observer is a newspaper in existence for more than 15 years. Its sole purpose is to fight injustice and wrongful prosecution in the justice system. Kathie's distinction between newspaper and tabloid is uneducatedly cute; tabloid is a newspaper industry term to describe format size, not content.
Furthermore, the US~Observer Oklahoma never received a single dime for either the investigation or the writing of the Kelsey Smith-Briggs story. Let me be very clear - neither family (Briggs or Smith) paid the US~Observer Oklahoma one cent to publish anything - our bank records attest to this. We published gladly to expose a vindictive
temper tantrum and the weight of politics over evidence in the justice system.

Kathie Briggs also makes a false claim that one of our reporters "apologized . . . after the trial." Kathie was not present and three of our staff can attest to what was said. No such apology was ever made. The only apology ever given between the Briggs and a member of the US~Observer is in a recording of Kathie Briggs telling one of our reporters in the halls of the courtroom, "I'm sorry. I know you're just doing your job." The US~Observer Oklahoma stands behind our article and the investigation and sources that produced it: court records &
transcripts, police records, sources in DHS, CASA, police departments, court employees, DHS record(s), military sources and sworn affidavits.

Kathie Briggs is a doctor of spin and a manipulator of fact but when this exceeds her reach she lies. Kathie is a liar for saying we received money to investigate and write this story and she is a liar for saying an apology was given. We look forward to exposing her in both the public and legal setting. For all her use of the words slander and liable, she obviously knows neither the definition nor the
application.

How was Raye Dawn to have a fair trial when Kathie had flooded the internet, highways, and airways with her version of the story implicating Raye Dawn?

Notice this is to all of the attorneys. Smothermon was the one controlling the Briggs. Or was it the other way around?

I sent four messages to the Jessica Lunsford Foundation. Each time I got an automatic response stating they would reply soon. That has been weeks ago with another message this week. I offered support for Jessica's Law and even asked about making a donation and no response.

I know they get thousands of emails, but so do I. If you cannot answer them or will not answer them you need to get someone who will. I hated having a negative feeling about this, but if you are going to put yourself out there you need to answer all of your mail.

There was another high profile case where the father has gone on national television claiming to be an advocate. I believe he is as long as he is paid. When he came to OKC you could tell he was not interested in the cases here. Unless he is going to be on Nancy Grace or another news show he is not going to offer any assistance. I think this is sad. I sat there with one of our members who believes her granddaughter is being sexually molested. This man did not care, why? Because it would not bring him recognition. Okay, enough of my soap box.

It looks like KP has decided to post MP's OSBI interview. We decided not to post them because we learned they aren't public record and KP is being investigated for making them public. But since they've made them public, I'll copy and paste here. I'm not saying this one or RD's is accurate because the Smiths never turned the interviews over to me for the reason I just stated. So read them knowing they haven't been checked for accuracy.
Truthseeker also gave the website to Hods. The one thing I can't believe is they don't think that this lawsuit is a good idea. I don't see how they can have that way of thinking. Truth seeker also took the liberty to add a Raye and Kelsey picture to my name.
