PUTTING THE DHS, CHBS, CASA VISITS INTO PERSPECTIVE
I learn visually, and more than 80% of US Americans (who can read maps)
are visual learners...
So I decided to build a timeline - starting from June 16th when Kelsey
went back into the "care" of Raye.
What I was able to count out was that in 122 days there were 35
OFFICE/IN HOME/DR. visits - this averages to a visit about every 3.4
days!!!
So then I counted. There was NEVER an occasion from the first DHS in
home visit on JUNE 27, 2005 - that Kelsey wasn't seen IN PERSON at least
every 7 days. That's right, the LONGEST she went without having DHS,
CHBS, CASA or PHYSICIAN contact was 7 days!!
However there were only 3 occasions when as many as 7 days would pass
between visits. (7/19 to 7/26 to 7/26-8/2 to
9/13-9/20)
There were only 3 occasions when as many as 6 days passed
There were 5 occasions when as many as 5 days passed.
There were 4 occasions when as many as 4 days passed.
There were 2 occasions when only 2 days passed.
There were 9 occasions when only 1 day passed in between visits.
There were 4 occasions when DHS, CHBS, CASA, or a Dr. Saw Kelsey ALL ON
THE SAME DAY.
I am a person who tries to "reason" - and from knowledge as well as the
TESTIMONY from the ME during the trial, bruises do not go away in just a
matter of hours. They take time to heal. Generally 7-14 days - so if
Kelsey was severely abused in the 4 months that she was in the "care" of
Raye-Dawn, then WHY didn't the PROFESSIONALS take action?
